Crayola had an established company culture and competency-based performance management process, but realized that they needed their culture and competencies to change to influence their employees to behave in a way that would set the company up for future success. 


Crayola had to determine how they wanted to change their culture, what behaviors would bring about the needed change, and how they would communicate the change so that their employees would accept and adapt to the new culture quickly.
